There are many factors that can influence your candidacy for this treatment. Ideal candidates for All-on-4® implants have enough jaw bone structure to support the implants. However, many patients who are not candidates for other implants may still be eligible for All-on-4® implants. The titanium posts are placed at an angle, allowing for greater treatment flexibility.

Dr. Loveless will perform a variety of diagnostic tests to determine your candidacy. If you have any remaining teeth, Dr. Loveless will determine if any extractions are necessary.

What to Expect from the All-on-4® Procedure

Detailed & Customized Treatment Plan

Based on your diagnostic visit, Dr. Loveless will create a detailed and customized treatment plan to help you achieve your smile goals. This plan will include the exact depth and position that your implants will be placed. The goal of the procedure is to stop irreversible bone loss and provide a solid foundation for your non-removable dentures.

Implant Placement

On the day of your implant placement, Dr. Loveless will use your customized treatment plan to ensure that each post is positioned in its optimal location. He will place a minimum of four implants per arch. Then, a functional and natural-looking temporary denture will be placed, giving you a new smile in just one visit! 

Temporary Functional Denture & Healing Time

You will wear this temporary denture as your implants heal. It will allow you to talk, chew, and smile with confidence. While every patient is different, you will likely be ready for your permanent denture after several months. Dr. Loveless will work with you to monitor your healing progress.

Permanent Denture

Your final denture will be artfully crafted to mimic natural teeth and to compliment your facial proportions. Once your All-on-4® denture is placed, you will be able to enjoy all of the daily benefits that natural-looking, non-removable teeth have to offer.
